Thumbs down oops has anyone ever?

i took my buddy out for a ride in the 7 today and was coming to redline in third when i went to shift to 4th i accidently threw it in 2nd and once i released the clutch the buzzer came on i pushed the clutch back in and a puff of smoke out the back i **** my pants and thought i blew a seal but no signs of anything sever all temps and pressures are fine and no leaks anywhere oil level is still good could this of been just some undisturbed carbo being revved out or did i *** something up revs went to about 7500. i think ill find out the severities in the morning.

Nice shift.. I have never done that but I have missed 2nd real bad when I had my music up and didn't know I missed it untill the buzzer was screaming.. It had to of been 8-9000 without a doub. The rotaries can take it, it is the distributor that I am worried about. I over revved b/c my throttle stuck once and I blew a HOLE THROUGH MY DIZZY!!! The size of a quarter.. that scared me to death.. I thought I blew it up and that was with a friend in the car. He was real scared when I was reaching 110 and I said the throttle stuck! But it was ok new dizzy cap and all was fine.

yeah i will be in need of a rebuild but it aint bad i dont have smoke at redline or under acceleration, just at cold starts, i let her sit for a few hours and started her up she was cold and as usual smoked a lil oil but once i took her out, for whatever reason i chirped 2nd and third ive never chirped third b4. i really love this car its like it wants to have the gears revved through, plus i have new tires toyo proxes, soo they are prety good i think. anyways thankx for the feedback and no i didnt actually **** myself but my heart kinda sank.
