Ok so i finally got my 12a running. How can i test to see if oil is going into the carb. And whats this about premix. just use regular 2 stroke oil or what? whats the ratio to mix???

 

Testing proceedure is in the FSM, which can be downloaded from the link in my sig line. Any TC3W rated 2 stroke will work for premix. Usuall ratio is 1 oz/gal. of fuel. That gives a ratio of 128:1, more than adequate. Fwiw, under some conditions, the 3rd gens run a 500-800:1 ratio, rarely anywhere near 128:1.
