and it actually DOES look like it has 27000 miles on it
wow.... that's all I have to say...
not like the other "cherry" RX-7s out there with "69000" kms on them that have rust everywhere and the interiors are falling apart...

Very, very clean example. Had I not just dumped a bunch of money into opening another store I'd buy that baby and keep her as a museum-quality example of an SE!
I paid $4,000 CDN for Pamela, so $4,000 US seems a little steep by xomparison, but it's supply and demand and really, where can you find a supply of truly cherry SEs with all paperwork, manuals, both roofs, etc? Only thing she seems to be missing is the driver's side floormat.

I never trust those super low mileage cars on Ebay.
Hell, I never trust any cars on Ebay.
Plus, it's quite the turn off to see something like:
"THIS MAZDA HAS BEEN GARGED KEEPED"
And, it has "2 Rotars".

You have to be concerned about a vehicle that old with that little mileage... When it's been driven that little, seals start to go bad, gas sits in the tank, etc... A lot of times it's worse for the car mechanically than if it had 100K on it... very pretty though...

It's very pretty, but the fact that the owner has difficulty with the English language is what has me worried. How good can this lack of "FADEING" be, and what exactly is "GARAGED KEEPED"? *sigh*

I see misspellings all over the internet - this forum being a prime example. Evar? Leik? Teh? They've become so common they're expected! But with true mistakes, often people type faster than their skills allow. At the same time, as one who places EBay listings, there is no spellcheck feature and pasting from a word processor can result in screwy formatting.

But then there's this part:
"We check to assure no odometer rollback, salvaged titles, reconditioned titles or flood cars."
Kinda makes you assured it's an original car? Someone CarFax it

Yeah, very nice looking car.
Doesn't mean it doesn't have hidden rust issues, though, or a gummed-up fuel system like Dan pointed out. Still, very hard to find one with such low mileage.
Personally, I don't much care for the color of the interior, everyone knows a sports car is supposed to have a BLACK interior, don't they?
And on the subject of poor spelling/grammar: This forum has the worst spelling and grammar of any forum I've ever participated in, and I post on some real redneck gun forums occasionally. So I can see how it would offend one's sensibilities to even respond to some of the poorly written threads here, even if one has the information in question. That's why I say "speed without accuracy is a false economy".
But yeah, nice car...

looks really nice. reminds me of this nice red first gen on ebay not too long ago. it had 46000 miles on it or so, all service records, garaged, real nice. I was the high bidder at 4,050 but the guy didn't wanna sell it. he was kind of a dick, too.

oh yeah I would only buy it if I NEVER planned on driving it.
theres no way it would last more then a month with those low mailes and the scarce driving its seen.
well maybe with a couple straight weeks of prep work.

In August 01, I purchased a 1985 GS with 32,000 original miles. The car belonged to an older gentleman, who kept in a garage at his summer home. He drove it on short trips during his visits there. Since purchasing this car, I have driven it 9,000 miles. The only problem encountered thus far has been a faulty brake master cylinder, and the air pump has started to squeak. I am planning to replace the air pump with a second alternator, which will power the 760 watt sub amp I recently installed. The dealer where I purchased it had replaced all fluids, and added 2 pounds of freon to the A/C, which works perfectly. The Car-Fax report is clean, and I have checked the underbody on a hoist. This is truely a "one owner wonder" and I love it. This is my 2nd Rx7, my first was a rusty, 140,000 mile 83 GS. I'll gladly post pictures, if someone will tell me how the heck to do it on this board
