Old School meet- pics

Just sharing these links to pics of our So Cal RX "Ole Skool" meet last Saturday. Vehicles were pre-SA era.

In attendance were a couple of guys from MAZDASPEED/ Mazda R&D and Abel Ibarra.

Its was a good meet. I was happy that the cars with wacky-touch made it in the courtyard. My POS RX-3 didnt

excuse my lack of knowledge, but did that datsun come stock with some sort of a rotary or is it a common engine swap. i think that orange w/black rims is the most gorgeous car my eyes have ever set upon and i fuging love that design.

We did the swap in my garage. Took us appx 2 months to do everything including suspension and modifying the corss-member. Its has a 13-B monster streetport (like the one in my FB and RX-3) with 48 IDA.

Yeah, the orange one is very clean and bling bling.

and Branca, you just help me decide which color to paint my FB. i was torn between black or white. now i finally get that saying "Once you go black you wont go back"

That red Datsun is amazing, I'd love to see it up close in person...

That black FB is hot too, the clear tails are iffy though.

the blue one is a 74 RX-4 (76 has a large bumpers and flush headlight/grill.
the yellow one is my POS RX-3.

The next meet is at the Queen Mary @ Long Beach harbor. its all old school japanese cars. I think its on 8/23 but not sure. If your interested, check out the west forum or socalrx website. Im not sure if Im going as I have several cars lined up for work.
