Old clutch, wanna know if it'd be good.

Ok, so here is the deal. I'm pretty sure that my clutch slave cylinder when out on my daily driver. Its an 84 gs, I have an 85 gsl, I know that they can be swapped. the only problem would be a matter of reliability. The 85 sat for like 5-6 years in a field before I got it in a trade. I've had it for approx. 2-3 years. When you get in the car it feels good but I just want to know if you guys would think it would be good to use on my daily. Also, if not would just any master and slave do, because I looked up a thread and it said its a good idea to both at once.

Any help is appreciated, thanks for the info guys.

Fred

If you don't want to bleed the clutch when you are done, swap the entire unit as on piece from the parts car. If it is known to be good, don't mess with it, just swap it.

Well i'm trying to save some cash right now. I'll end up just buying a new one either next month or so. I have like 250 to pay to texas dps so I dont get warrants and have my DL suspended. so if I don't have to spend it this paycheck I'd rather not. I'm going to replace it hopefully mid feb. I actually don't wanna just wait for the older one to go out.

By the way the tickets are for stickers and insurance when I was driving my belair. Not doing some stupid **** in my rex, that thing is my baby.
