Ok update for the POS moneypit, and I NEED HELP!

Ok I got my injectors in and after like very email I said I NEED ONES to fit the cosmo intake and fuel rail. I asked like 10 times! Well guess what the f^%kers dont fit and Im kinda pissed here, this is all I need and the car will RUN maybe!

These pictures might be kinda crappy, if you need more pics Ill take em. But the cosmos injectors are obviously really big at the bottom and the top fuel side looks different too... Man Im so pissed!

Heres the 1500cc injectors see attachment

Ok looking at this at second thought maybe they will fit if I use the same size o rings as the cosmo injector used. Is that allowed I mean can that be done safely. Seems like they would have to seal in there pretty good to keep the vacuum/boost from leaking out around the injectors ?

Well injectors are wired up, electric fans are wired up and ready to go. We loaded up the haltech with data, and checked all the sensors all looks like a go.. Next time I get to work on it, its gonna get a oil pan gasket its leaking.. Some oil, some coolant, some misc fuel stuff, and some gas, and lets see if it runs

playing with the haltech is fun. there are so many cool features. trying to talk mike into tuning in some anti-lag. just a small setting to keep the turbo slightly spooled.

You gonna get some video of the big day? It would be nice to see, 'cause so many people on the forum must be hanging to see it running.

Good luck.

mmmm.... I can already hear that BOV whooshing, and the tires squealing as Mike steps on the gas, outta the garage, and out onto the street in his un-insured beast, and then I hear sirens... wait.. that's the cop car pulling him over for noise, speeding, peeling out, and driving with no insurance... oh well... it was worth it for the camera and your fellow forum members, wasn't it?

Sounds like a good idea. I would say get some theft for sure, and perhaps collision... but then I don't think they'll give you too much for collision... hmmm... I'm sure you'll figure it out.

You might make it if you stop half way to swap them front - rear

You do realise that once this things running we'll not hear anything for at least a week ... he'll be to busy driving it !

Well, you will probably be making more power than mine. Though, I must say that the rear end in my car is still going, and the gearbox is still holding in there. Admittedly they make some noises they never used to make, but they're still good. I don't do nasty clutch dumps though so that helps.

The only problem so far, is the clutch can't handle the power and slips badly as the boost come on. That will be taken care of next week though. Maybe then the gearbox or diff will go bang.

I'm also using 205's on the orginal 13" wheels, which probably makes things a bit easier on the drivetrain by spinning easily.

To sum up... You'll be right mate! (at least for a while).

The rear should take the load no prob. My car has no problems. And about laying rubber .... you won't be able to. My car has probably less power than yours but the tires spin so fast you cant hear em spinning and they hardly leave any marks.

So what are you guys putting down to the ground ~300hp? And the rear will take it?

I got a friend with a 88 vert with SBC 400 in it, and the stock 88 vert IRS diff will take it. I couldnt beleive it
