i found an 82 or an 83 rx-7 gs i think with a sunroof. for $150 usd. but here are the problems
the sunroof is beat to h#ll.
the rust under the storage been is bad enough you can reach out and grab a tire.
the nice black interior is good but the seats are completly shot.
the dash has a few big cracks in it.
it ran but then stopped and never was touched they have no idea what happend.
Half the plug wires are missing.
the red paint is completly shot except for the front end.
The front end was redone to due to a wreck but is in great shape.
it has a bra on it which is shot
it has not been touched in 2 years.
it has tires but they are starting to crack due to the sun.

Do you think it is worth it for the parts? the front end is abosolutly perfect and the motor might be good. but there is no tittle.

Ouch...sounds like it's hurting. I'd say it's safe to say that you're not going to be able to get it running easily enough to justify the cost or effort. There would have to be a specific part I needed that it had before I'd buy it, though it seems like black interior parts are always looked for.

It kind of sounds like it's two steps away from a yard...

 

put down the classified ad and back away slowly and your wallet won't get hurt...

 

yeah i know i already have two parts cars that will never be street legal the 79 runs though and ti is a test car for my sc setup. the other 79 is almost ready to go to the yard when it goes it will just be a frame and main body and that is it. when i strip a car i strip a car.
