Oil Feed Line Question

I have searched and it seems no one else has had this question or thought about using this metheod for the turbo oil feed line. I am in the process of turbo charging my '85 -SE 6 port. Right now I am trying to get some of the plumbing out of the way and have ran into a question I thought I would ask others. Instead of buying Stainless Steal Braided "Rubber" hose which has a pressure limit of 2000psi (Which we all know the oil feed line will never see this pressure) why not go with a pre assembled Autometer -4AN Mechanical Pressure Stainles Steal Braided "Teflon" hose which has a pressure rating of 3000psi? If you have ever tried to assemble SS Braided hoses with fittings it can get very costly! $22 3 foot of hose and $11 per hose end, verses the preassemble running rate at $30.Also does anyone know how well Teflon linning holds up to the hot oil for many years verses the rubber linning? I figured something that can handle Hydrolic fluid and Brake fluid shouldnt have a problem with something like oil. Any comments would be helpful.

Thanx,
Mike

My engine to oil cooler lines are the teflon style. Teflon is superior to rubber for longevity, the downsides are that the end fittings can't be easily assembled at home, and its bend radius is not as tight as rubber. Once you go too far and kink the hose, its burst rating goes in the toilet.

All that said, the teflon seems like an excellent idea if you can find the right size already assembled.

Speaking of which.... WHERE is everyone getting their -3AN oil feed line. It seems Russel and Earls only carry -4AN unless you go into a brake line then you can grab a -3AN.
