OEM of the RX8 seats?...

Does anyone know who actually manufactures the RX8 seats / interior components? I've been searching but haven't found out, yet. Are the RX8's being made in Flatrock Assembly Plant?

I was thinking of this as well, rx8 seats in a 7 would look awesome and they even have rotors in the seats! Really expensive I bet...

The RX-8 is built in Hiroshima.

Hmmm,

That would look pretty cool but they don't hold you in too well, I've actually found that I fit snugger in my little RX7 vs the 8's...

I found the RX8club forum. There are some great discussions on RX8 interiors, including a reference to this:
www.classicsofttrim.com
There is one near me, in Raleigh, that I'll need to investigate some custom door panel redo's. I'll bet someone there has a backyard-shop, too.
(Hmmm...I'll bet that scrap dumpster would be interesting *chuckle*)

Also, although the actual RX8 is assembled in Japan, I still wonder what supplier company supplies the OEM seats. Automotive suppliers are so global, now.
