OEM fuel pump replacement

I currently have a Holley blue pump and FPR fueling a stock Nikki. If I were to swap to an OEM pump and sell the Holley pump would I need the FPR? Could I just connect the pump outlet directly to the Nikki inlet? Is that how it is from the factory? I've never had a factory pump on the car so I don't know...

I say "no" - nothing to regulate with the OEM pump, so why clutter it up? K.I.S.S.
Stock setup requires no regulator...
BTW if you haven't got the OEM pump yet, ebay has a NOS unit for $70 listed...

I noticed the ebay auction. I think I'll jump on it.
