Well, I recent put my new '85 SE on the road, and could use some help.

The stock stereo doesn't work, although, the Cassette deck works just fine, as do the stock amps, and the antenna even goes up and down when I turn the stereo on.

Except that no lights some on the radio and no sound comes out.

Is the radio pooched, or is there some possible wiring problem?

the wiring is fine if all systems work. sounds like a problem on the internal side of the stereo.

 

I have a the original 79 AM Monophonic Single speaker Radio in my car. I'll sell it to you cheap!
