Odd Noise in my GS
Odd Noise in my GS
Well here is the deal. Recently my 1985 Rx-7 started to make a noise that sounded like a fan eating up a shroud or belt in the engine compartment, maybe like a motormount broke. Well the fan has no marks on it at all.
The odd thing about the noise is that when I have a full tank of gas, or someone in the passenger seat, the noise is not heard. I can hear it under braking and when going over bumps in the road. So if the car is pitched forward is when I seem to be able to hear it. It is hard to tell if it is from the right front or right rear as well.
If anyone has experienced anything like this, your help is greatly appreciated. Or any of you people who have worked on 1st gens could help me out. I am not really looking for what it is exactly but maybe some areas where to look. I was thinking to go piece by piece through the right rear control arms.
