Hello, I just bought my first rx7, it's an '81. It has a racing beat exhaust right now, straight pipe. I need to replace it with the original exhaust and cat which I have so that I can pass smog and get it registered. It came with two of the hoses but the previous owner told me it is missing two because the were in very poor condition. Was told one is the air pump and the other goes under the carb but he doesn't know the name of it.

I need to know the name of it and where I could look to find these two hoses. Thanks a ton.

 

Not sure which hoses you need either.
Take pics of your current system, maybe have arrows pointing to the question areas.
Attached are some pictures of my stock exhaust system, not much good because my car is a 79.
I believe the hoses in the pictures are the ones you're talking about.

 

I will take pictures on my lunch break. This is my first RX7 so I'm still learning my way around it.

Yeah kinda figured that. I only though my system would give him some ideas on where to look or maybe what to look for.

 

I have some from my '83.....I'd have to look at their condition, but if they work you can have them....also have an exhaust mani and that small pipe just before the cats.
