i just looked at an 1982 series 2 rx7.. just wondering what trim it was? (SE, Gle etc)

Won't be a GSL-SE because of the year.

Did it have disc brakes in the rear? If Yes - GSL, If No - S or GS

Did it have a sunroof? If Yes - GS, If No - S

Other than that I can't really tell. This is just a rough estimate from my observations... someone else?

im sorat in the same deal, i have a none sunroof non disk break 85 7, it says GS but i tihnk thats just a badge someone stuck on it.

also i have a GSL with disks but no sunroof. only 2 ive seen like it, ever other 7 has a sun roof that ive seen

 

sunroofs were optional, not standard, on gsl and lesser models, i believe. This web page will answer your questions:

I had an 82 S that had no sunroof - no optional anything, as a matter of fact.

My friend has a GS with no sunroof... It's just got the nice stereo... that's the only reason I can see that it's not an S model...

 

yeah its got discs on all four..

no sun roof.. electric everything.
ahhhh not sure what else..

but it looks like it a GSL
