A bronze or puck clutch disc is a racing clutch. Harsh engagement, difficult to feather and chews up flywheels and pressure plates before it will slip. Great for drag launches, poor for daily street driving. If you want a balance in between an organic and bronze, look into a ceramic/kevlar disc. Near stock engagement and much better holding power when compared to a puck disc. I believe ReSpeed sells them.

That helps me decide not to bid on an RX7 on ebay. I want smooth engagement and a light pedal feel, due to ankle and back problems. I always liked the pedal feel of my stock GSL SEs and the others I test drove.

A good street/strip clutch package with an organic disc should do you fine, I have a ceramic disc with an upgraded pressure plate in the widebody. Pedal feel and engagement point are very close to stock. Pressure plate clamping is 30% over stock, iirc.
