I just bought this GSL-SE and the previous owner had "nothing" on its history. I put a thread on the "vin check" area but no response. I can see why with all the requests. anyway, I am hoping some one will hear my plea and accomodate my request. the vin # is: JM1FB3322F0894708 If Ican return the favor, I will ..thansk.......cjf

The story of this 1985 MAZDA RX7 13B (JM1FB3322F0894708) according to our interpretation of the information reported to CARFAX:
This coupe has had at least 2 owners. The first title for this coupe was reported to CARFAX by a New York DMV in 1993.
It was involved in an accident in New York that was reported to the police.
It has had no DMV-reported total loss events, like a major accident, fire or flood.
It has not been reported by a DMV as having an Exceeds Mechanical Limits or Not Actual Mileage title.
It has a consistent mileage history with no indication of an odometer rollback. The last odometer reading, reported on 10/24/2001, was 130,483 miles.
It was not reported by a DMV as a Manufacturer Buyback (LEMON).
It has no recalls that still require repair.

----

01/02/1991 New York Police Report Accident Reported
Vehicle involved in crash
with another motor vehicle

---

Date: Mileage:
12/03/1992 51,473
09/29/1999 99,913
10/07/2001 129,525
10/22/2001 130,449
10/23/2001 130,462

Hope this helps =]

I for one do not trust vin number checks..

I paid to get my carfax report and it stated the car had a salvage title, and that the last custer lived in South Carolina.. freaking bull.. truth of the car was that it was kept in a garage for the last 2 years and taken out and registered 2 weeks before i bought it. It has a clean title. I got my money back.

just my 2 cents

You're right. That is bullshit. I know for certain that Custer last lived in the Dakota Territory at Little Big Horn. ******* carfax is trying to rewrite history...
