no idiot lights

I have a 80 rx7 that has no idiot lights and no fuel pump noise.i have swaped the ignitors and replaced the alternator.i am about to pour gas all over this car and sacrfice it to the rotory gods.it will fire when i put some starting fluid in the carb. any other sugestions would be great.

Try changing the fuel filter

Check the fuse for the fuel pump!!!!!

I hachecked all the fuses and replaced the fusible links. all the electrical works except fuel pump volt meter and tach and idiot lights.I had the car running a few months ago on jumper cables. when I removed the jumper cables the engine shut off.The battery is new last year.

Maybe you have a severed wire somewhere, check the cables, and use a voltmeter to see if where connections fail

Check your grounds. Check battery cables at both ends, all connections to starter, hot wire to the point where it connects at the fusible links...
