no clutch

no clutch

i have 1984 gsl se 13b i was driving in town lost my clutch. clutch wont's to stay down. been driving it everyday have notice a little soft clutch. no noise at all

sounds like it could be the master or slave and not the clutch itself.

check the slave cylinder mounted on top of the tranny. Mine has gone out twice and its usually a case of a bad seal on the internal cylinder of the slave. The rebuild kit is cheap but check to see if you have any pressure in the line. Ask a friend to push/pull the clutch and check if you see the cylinder move. Also check to see if it is leaking or low on fluid.

thanks to yall i will try that ...what about the master can i check it .if it has pressure does that mean it is good

i bleed the slave and the clutch is good to go .drove it to work today did great thank's to yall

Sweet! Its a relief when you find out its just the hydraulics, not the clutch.
