Nipples & what they're for....

Um... ya... I have nipple questions.

What is supposed to be connected to this particular nipple?

I love wiring...it's really a mindset thing. If you understand it, it's quite easy. I'm fortunate to have been working with electrical/electronics most of my adult life, so that helps.

In that case rich, why don't you come over for a few beers and help me figure out where my mysterious slow electrical drain is coming from?

Iowa isn't THAT far from Canada

Ok, since you're all about electrical....

I have a connector (driver's side engine compartment) that's a female end, 2 wires - my neighbor says they are blue with red lines/markings (I'm colorblind, which makes wiring oh such much more challenging and dangerous, lol). What's it connect to?

I can't read a wiring diagram to save my life, for 2 days I've been trying to understand them. I think I never really learned because... well, colors make no sense to me.

The brake fluid reservoire already has wires hooked to it (unless they are the wrong wires connected, lol).

I took one last night, but forgot to upload it. I'll post it up tonight when I get home.

The hotstart has a single connector, I know which one that is (disconnected it when I got sick of hearing the grinding noise it made, lol).

btw, I have an '84 GS. With a lot of loose stuff floating around under the hood.

Well, slow drains can take a while to find, so I hope you have a LOT of beer there LOL. Right now it seems like Iowa IS Canada...man I hate winter, and it's just getting started...

That is for your AC, it kicks up the throttle to compnsate for the extra drain the AC pulls on the engine.

Dont be scared to ask, this is what the fourm is for.

I assume I need to plug the vac hose?

Ok, only a few problems left to resolve. no backup lights - I assume there's a connector to the tranny somewhere?

2 unconnected vac hoses (1 goes to the cruise control that's on the way), the other comes from a similar place, is long, but I have no idea where it goes.

One connector (the blue & red one), and one connector at the bottom of the engine, near a dangling bracket....

Pictures to come with my next round of begging for help.

btw, I'm ok with catching ****, as long as an answer eventually comes.
