nikki needle seats ... how to remove?!

Any tricks to remove the brass needle seats? I've tried the shank of drill bits in the holes...they snapped. Has anyone tried heating the air horn? (1983, series 2).

Also, I did bump into an archive URL to Sterlings manual last week, but that link is now broken. Does anyone have an alternate link?

Thanks.

Grind the sides of the needle housings flat with a dremel and then bust them loose with a wrench. You can get way more torque behind it this way. Id recommend soaking them in some Kroil brand penetrating oil too.

Throw the PB Blaster in the trash and get some Kroil. EVERYONE loves PB Blaster but ive never found that it works very well. Kroil is hands down the best product in a a can ive ever bought.
