Nikki 4bbl problem

hi my nikki 4bbl filled one of the barrels up with gas almost to the top.. what could be wrong? and what is the float setting in millimeters?

You have a stuck float. Tap the top of the carb with a mallet right where the fuel line goes into the float bowl (banjo bolt) (DONT break anything!). That usually unsticks them. From the outside the level should be right in the middle of the windows with the car on level ground.

Same thing happened to mine. Your on the right track, the floats are sticking open. Many people have luck just tapping near the floats to unstick them, but I just went ahead and rebuilt the carb, it needed it. Not sure on the float setting, but if you decide to rebuild, it will come with instructions that will say.

I got a carb rebuild kit for around $35 when mine needed new needles and seats. It was well worth it and easy to do. And I have really no mechanical background.
