Nice 84 GSL-SE for sale in VT

Likely won't get asking price for this (hey, it is a dealer, so it starts high) but i have seen these go for 4.5-5.5k. If anyone in NE is looking for an outstanding example of an 1984 GSL-SE with 34k miles, check this out, it might be the ticket.

Hell, this thing is only 2 miles from where I work. I was by there the other day and didn't see it. If anyone is interested in it and would like a non-salesman's viewpoint of the car, meaning just a Joe Schmoe with 4 7's worth of experience, I would be happy to go check it out for you. I have too much tied up in 7's right now to be interested. I don't really want to be single again!!!

I'd go haggle with them this weekend and buy the thing if I thought I could explain to the wife why I need a Silver 84 Rx7 GSL-SE with maroon leather to go with my Silver 85 Rx7 GSL-SE with maroon leather. Thats a tough angle to play, I can't even plead I need a different color for evening driving or to match my new shoes ;-)

Maybe I could paint a sad face on my current 7 and tell her it's lonely....

Guess it would be better to put 5k or so toward a new engine and camden supercharger for the existing 7, but dang, 34K miles, the car looks showroom from the pics. Hope whoever buys it takes good care of it.

I took a look at this car. Somebody needs to buy this car!!! The dealer will take $4000 for it as-is. If I had the cash, I would grab this in a second. It has been stored for almost 10 years. The inspection sticker is from '96. It supposedly had been started frequently. The car needs to be cleaned up. There is no rust on this. It is a one-owner car. The only blemishes on the car are, there is a slight scratch/crease in the lower panel of the passengers side door and there is a slight indent just behind the bumper in the left front fender where the side moulding is. There is also some slight fading in the interior deck carpet and misc plastic parts. The leather interior is mint. The dealership has replaced both the gas tank & fuel pump. They said that the fuel lines need replacing. This car is completely stock. The rims are absolutely mint. No corrosion or curb rash. I did not hear it run, but the dealer said that they had it running and it ran clean & clear. I've been trying to figure out a way to snag this thing, but!! If anyone need more info, I would be glad to help. The dealer is going to finish the prep on this probably in the next few days, then the price goes way up. Grab it before that happens.

Perfect7, I'm glad to see someone scooped this thing up. There is just one more minor thing that I forgot to mention, you will have to re-seat the right-rear tail light assy. It looks like some messed with it and didn't fit it back in correctly. Just clean this baby up and you will be extremely happy. I almost should have worn a condom when I went to look at it, if you know what I mean!!! Let me know when you're going to be there to pick it up and maybe I can run over. Also, if there is anything else I can do to help out, please let me know. Like I mentioned before, I work 2 miles away from the dealership. Anyway, good luck.
