I have a 79 rx7 that I have owned from 1979. Still drive few times a year. Trying to deceid if ground up restoration is worth effort of if parts are hard to come by. Mostly need body work and interior.
Definately restore it. It will be worth the money and time. I am currently restoring an 82 GSL. Loads of fun. The parts are redily available from various sites too. www.mazdatrix.com is a great site for just about anything. If you are looking for a deal, go to www.atlantarx7.com . Lots of good used parts.
Check out www.victoriabritish.com and get their free catalog. They have a lot as well
. I "restored" my 83 after rescuing it from the junk yard. You can see it at the link in my sig (click the picture). Anyway, welcome to the forum and good luck
