new tires

Im going to have my tires mounted today. I was looking for a good deal on wheels/tires obviously since i had to shell out money for headers konis rb springs all new bushings new bump stops and many other little things that added up. I wanted those old school mesh wheels but they kept going up rediculusly high on ebay so i end up with kosei k-1s and for tires i went with yokahoma es-100 ultra high performance from tire rack. tires were 325 and wheels where 400 (used but like new). I got 195 50 r15 for the front and 205 50 r15 for the rear. I wanted to go bigger but i didnt really do any power upgrades this year since i was trying to restore the handling first so i didnt think i needed more. The only power upgrades i have is ac removed headers new muffler no cats etc... ill post some picks later today if i can get the front end put back together. what tires are you guys running. what do u think of my setup so far?

Es 100's are good I like those ok. My new set of tires are the Falken Azenis.

I pretty much have done the same as you. New springs/shocks. No new bushings yet. Strut bar. Car handles well, but I definately need a new carb.

Good work. I'd like to see some pics!

i have some summer performance dunlops on my yet to be put on wheels, they are 195-55 r14 and they look pretty good i think...i had yokohama's on before, 195-60-r14 all season(rock hard) and they looked not that great and werent any wider really than stock, but my new tires are over an inch wider at about 8 inches of useful tread(im pretty sure that's what it was)...i have 14x6 whees......................that setup sounds good to me, im actually sad i bought tires from a shop, i dont need the warranties and online is much cheaper...
