New Savanna Diecast

Over at http://www.rotorhead.ca I've added a Tomica diecast Savanna for $12.95 (1:64 scale). It's less detailed than the 1:43 Ebbro, but is also about a third of the price.

I will be adding a 1:43 Savanna by Tomica and a box set (2 FCs, 2 FDs) hopefully by the end of today.

nope. The lights go up/down on the more detailed 1:43 Ebbro that I list - these are the lower cost, lower detail Tomica 1:64

They are the same size as any Hot Wheel or Matchbox car. My bro picked me up one of those and a red FD during his vacation in Japan.

I want to order one, but I too can't divide my car by 43 or 64.

If you have access to it, could you have some pictures taken of them with something for a size reference??

A Bottle? a CD? a Gear Girls Tit?

See, I just located the supplier. They're in a warehouse in California, I'm not.

I do know they're about Matchbox/Hot Wheels size.

I'll be having a Gear Girl model a new Rotorhead.ca t-shirt design if you guys are into that sort of thing (rotorhead T-shirts, that is, not gear girls )

Make sure it's a WET T-Shirt, preferably transparent, on a COLD Day.

1/64 is Hot Wheels/Matchbox size. My avatar is one of my Tomica 1/60 Savannas, they are 2 & 7/8 inches long.

Dammit, Manntis, I have way too many toy cars as it is! Well maybe one more wouldn't hurt...

Yea I have one. Its like matchbox size, but nicely detailed for its scale. Much nicer than any of the matchbox ones I have. But the queen is the ebbro. I get wood everytime I look at it!

Manntis you gonna get the sister car to it? The white/orange #77?

Hey Gamble, there really wasnt anything to do to it when I got it, just recover the original seats with the original plaid and get some body side mouldings. The mouldings are done but I'm still running the leather seats. I found someone to hand weave the original fabric but I'm kinda broke right now and at 200$ a yard I might be broke for awhile lol.

Here she is before the moulding and with the front plate at the wrong spot .

Good deal Manntis! When I'm not so broke from spending $ on real 7's I'll get one. My green/white 7 looks so lonely up there on my stereo.
