New rear spoiler
New rear spoiler
I'm in the final stages of a rear spoiler I designed. just getting it ready for final sanding before throwing the fiberglass to it. anyone wanna see it?
the car is on jack stands in the front, so it does not look like it has a lot of pitch. it has a good amount, but the net result will be better show when the car is level.. and when it's done. :-)

I like it, but I think it would look better if you went 5-6 inches further on each side all the way to the edge of the car. Meaning it goes completely from one side of the car to the other without the gap.
the intent was to blend that big gap to the rear window. I know most of the go all the way to the side. just wanted something different. the very center of the rear was molded from the body panel just below the license plate. The inner edge from the window, the outer corners from the window and the side edges front the side of the car. it still needs a good amount of finishing, which means a lot of blending on the corners. I also wanted a bit of a shark tail look, which I accomplished when looking at it from the side. It's a blend of old and the newer stuff. like the spoiler on my Maxima.
