New Radiator Fan Set Up

I plan on adding an electric cooling fan set up , for my Rx7, before this summer. I would also like to find an aluminum radiator fan like my 83' bridgeported Rx7 had (look at the picture below), but I have no idea where to find one. Does anyone know where I can find an aftermarket metal or aluminum radiator fan?

Most parts stores should have universal fan kits. They usually won't fit the stock fan clutch but you can get some that flex with rpm although they usually don't cool as well as the stock setup.

Many folks have been using a elect fan from a 6 cyc. junk yard Taurus.
Run a search and you will see.

Yeah...I read the last topic, on the forum, about using an electric taurus fan and the fan for that set up is pretty easy find. However I plan on using both a electric fan with thermostat (mounted infront of the radiator) and an aluminum fan replacement for the stock radiator fan, just like the set up my bridgeport had. That set up kept everything nice and cool. Problem is I can't remember what type of aluminum fan I had before, back in 1995. Does anyone know the diameter of the stock radiator fan?

I'm using a set of fans from an '80s MR2. I started out using both, but when I changed to the 2nd gen radiator I had some issues mounting them again. Now I'm only using one, but it still keeps things very cool. Mounting both fans on a stock 1st gen radiator is a breeze, took like five minutes to do. Total cost (including the fan controller) was under 40 bucks. Do a search for MR2 and you'll come up with all of the info that you could ever want.
