New racing Beat set up.

Hi everyone, we installed a Racing Beat header and Resonator, the car sounds great.
However there's a couple of questions.

1) Should the bolts be re-tighten, now that it's been a week, this was installed.
2) When the car is in idle, this just started yesterday, it started making a weird "Pif..pif"
sound, seems to be from the resonator or header.
3) Also noticed that the car sort of lightly "backfires more than before, with the new header,
this normal ?
4) While installing the header and resonator, the air pump system was removed and the two plates
where installed. Are the extra air holes on the bottom "air breather unit" suppose to be blocked off,
if so, what do you use.

Any advise or help would be appreciated.

all i can answer is the back fire question...your car is not the most fuel efficent car out there, and not all opf the gas gets burned in the engine, some of it finds its way out into the header where it combusts, giving you your back fires...you normaly cant hear this with a stoc setup because the cat is in the way, and the stock muffler muffles some of the sounds...

with the RB setup nothing baffles the backfires... so you hear them....try engine braking hard and see what happens!!! your neighbors will think they are in the middle of a WRC

BANG! BANG BANG BANG POP POP POP POP POP POP POW!

I can answer number four for you. I used marine silicone from Crappy Tire. It's thick and clear and can be molded effectively into those holes. The fact that it's marine grade (ie for boats) means that it stands up well to the elements. I've had mine on for a few years now with zero degradation.
