hi all, i picked up my newest project car today. its an 85GSL with a mint interior, straight body, good paint, and a dead 12a. picked it up for 300$. its soon to be the recipient of a 13bt from an 87TII.

 

Whats wrong with the motor? You live in Mobile, right? I need a couple extra 12A parts if you wanna sell them. I'll buy the whole motor and come get it if you come off it cheap enough

Good luck on the 13BT swap. I'm gonna build a blowthrough setup for a bridgeported 12A once I get one built. My friend Bryan (FEARED7) has a 79 with a 13BT and a big turbo in it, in addition to his TII.

 

yeah im in mobile. ill probably let the 12a motor go for pretty cheap when im done, all i need from it i suppose is the front cover for the swap. i half thought about keeping it around and using it as kind of a practive rebuild when i have the spare time. but i could prolly use the cash for work on another car.

at any rate, i'll let you know what im gonna do with it.
