New pics of my ride.

Here are some recent pictures of my rex. This is as good as it will get now, all the madness will start in a few months, project compiling parts will start very very soon.

If anyone is looking for a semi decent project shell let me know i can take shots of what needs to be repaired.

To answer some questions:

The rims are ASA 14x6
The header is SDJ
The cooper tube around the header is for the choke
I know thats not the right size air filter, thats because i've been waiting for my k&n one for a bit now

this is the shell that i'm getting, sitting like that doesn't seem much, but to me i see beauty. its mostly because of the underneath part and i plan on repainting so this shell is all prepped ...

So, THAT'S what the headlight washers look like! Damn, I've always wondered. Nice car, by the way.

Openshot, that's a K&N Xtreme Top Air Filter "cap" on top of a normal air filter.

Shell will soon have the rest of the body panels fitted, hood, doors, fenders, bumpers, etc.. I get to trailer it to Canada for delivery since I can get it there for almost 1/2 the the price a commercial shipper would charge Sam.

I'm supposed to go south in the winter, not north. LOL

lol @ Scott ... don't worry we actually don't have a single bit of snow on the floor now, we had that big storm that lasted 3/4 days and now its actually nothing, its been pretty sunny and light showers.

Thanks for the comment everyone else ... this shell i originally bought from a junk yard and it was sitting on the ground with no wheel or anything so the frame is really not in the greatest conditionand was lifted up with a forklift and who knows what else before, the interior was really good clean at the time, but the engine was shot too so thats the story on this car. I sat in it though and loved the feeling (i biked up to the junk yard a good 4/5 times before buying, i used to just sit in it and **** gears and stuff lol ) i know it sounds really childish but thats what it did to me, it brought the 5 year old out of me again. You can ask anyone i'm always a happy and smiling person, but they all noticed how much more happier I was once I bought the car, before i could even get it to run too.

Sam, it's not the snow I'm concerned about, other than clear roads would make the trip safer, anymore the older bones and muscles don't tolerate the cold well.

If you want to keep this thread going, I can send you progress pics for you to post as it comes together. You're bumpers look good, probably better than the ones I have. Are you sure you need extras on the shell? It might be better to use your covers and I can refurbish the sub-bumpers.

The front bumper has a hole/rip in it the, rear is good, if you think its better I guess i can use it instead of the other one you have.
