I recognize this picture off of the cover of a Rotary Rocket back in 1985/86. Is that right?

when ever I get oney for fiber glass, and the lights, I am gonna make myself somthing that look like this:

It has vents, er, scoops (for CAI) right above the lighte\s, and the lights are tucked behind the hang over!!!! It should be AWESOME!!!

Then, I am putting a HONDA COMBAT front piece on it, custom side skirts.. blah blah blah.... make my own hood(or buy one from 1st7heaven!!!!)....

Anyways, I wish that I will run into a pot of gold... lol

Peace....

PS: I might make a kit, but without lights, so you will haveto find lights, buy them, and install them.... so it will just be the shroud..... I would make a compelte kit, but I wouldnt be able to afford it!

Wheres your kit Manntis???

I think I like them, the only thing I would want out of them would be proper lighting. With recessed buckets isn't there alot of trouble getting a good beam?

I was wondering why no one has come up with an idea combining a center valance with the fixed dual headlight pods. I mean nothing wild and crazy, probably along the lines of a factory look a like, but as one piece, so there would be more versatility in headlight positioning. Just an idea for you guys that are good with fiberglass/cf, and/or photoshop.

That's cool. I figure that way the light can be designed not to be obstructed by anything. All in all they would be attractive and more functional. By the way I love your tail lights!

That's a pretty good idea. But if someone makes a vented front valence it might not be doable...mmmm vented valence. When Christmas again? I need to start a list.

Heh, thanks nosajwrx-7!

There is a big debate as to whether they look good or not. I like them tho, they go wiht my clear side and front lenses too.

Well, The lights will be just tucked under the scoop. Maybe about 2" in.... And they will be able to be adjusted! There will be a 1/4 ring around the lights, so it can reduce drag, and turn it into intake!

This will be awhile before they are made...... Not having money is a bitch.... hehehe... They out to be awesome....

I am making my RX-7 a lil' ricey! I dont care what anyone else thinks!!! hehehe.... I think it outa look good whenI am through! And be FAAAAAAST!!! (I hope )(I havent seen much on SP turbo 12a's, so it might be alot slower than I think, I am only hoping for 13's and have it run between 7-14 PSI!!!)

Peace!

Well lighter= free hp=faster. No headlight motors and monkey motion linkage saves weight! A simple fiberglass or CF bucket with appropriate lights and cover will help the handling and straight line speed. What about the small round driving lights they sell? If correctly mounted they should give adequate light no?
