New maniflod or not?

Ak, so here's my dilemma. I'm trying to decide if I should just get a square spacer to put in between the carb (getting something else, probably edelbrock) and the stock manifold, or should I save and get the racing beat manifold? Will it really make that much of a difference? Because if there's not much difference between just using the stock one with a spacer and racing beat, I'd rather not spend the money. I'm an extremely poor high school kid

Oh, and It's on a stockport that will very soon have the ac and emissions removed, as well as a custom fab'd exhaust system.

You can make an adapter plate, but Racing Beat's manifolds flow much better. Also, if you're getting an Edelbrock with an electric choke it will not clear the water pump with the stock manifold. Even with the RB manifold you need a spacer for clearance. With a manual choke it might not be a problem.
