New engine in my baby... 12AT

Hey guys
Finally got the time to put in my new motor in my Series 1. Just thought id tell you the specs and ill get some pics up ASAP.

12a Turbo Motor
Rebuilt by myself with brand new Seals
Extend Ported
Series 5 Rx7 turbo - Hi-flowed
manual boost controller
custom exhaust manifold
3" exhaust from turbo back, 2 mufflers
Series 4 intake/throttle body
2x series 5 injectors 2x 880cc injectors
malpassi rising rate fuel reg
bosch 909 fuel pump
1L surge Tank
pieburg pre pump
3" Stainless intercooler piping
front mount i/c 450x300x76mm
Series 5 Turbo Gearbox
lightened flywheel
4 puck h/d clutch
Microtech MT4 ECU
locked dizzy

Ive run in the motor and currently only running 6psi of boost. Just waiting for some dyno time to get it tuned for more. I love it, so nice to cruise without surging all the time like in my old 12a Bridgeport.

Well tell me your thoughts/questions/remarks. Id love to hear some input from some people in other countries.

Will post up some pics soon

-James

what type of strut brace is that? is it for an FC? it looks better than the FC ones, since it curves up, and sits higher, which i assume clears the blue carb intake box, and the alt. better. so where did you get it?

the ecu i used is a fuel only one so a dizzy is still needed. When i save some mroe cash i will go the fuel and ign ecu but its quite a lot more expensive.

As for the strut brace, its made in Aus. by a company called whiteline suspensions and its for a FB cost me $200AUS straight off the shelf, no mods needed.

Thanks for the comments guys, keep em coming

i, too, am a fan of your setup. looks like you use some more wheel/rubber, but how does it run otherwise?

yeah i'm lovin that widebody. most widebody kits I see are just too wide and look too distorted, but this is just a nice enchancement. good work.
