Arrow new 1st Gen logo for rx7club

Hey guys, I got an idea! Who here is an artist and good with graphics? I know you're out there! Don't get me wrong, I like the 2nd gen pic that's up there but can any of you guys come up with a kick-*** 1st gen logo to replace this one? Show us your stuff!!!!

I'll work on one too. Do you have an image with just the rotor and text? No car in the background. Or do you want a complete redo. I like the rotor and text in that banner. If there is a file with just the rotor and text post it up plz.

Inittab,

I will make you one when I get home from work. I promise. I don't know if it will be as nice as the 2nd gen one up top, but I will sure see what I can do. My brother in law is also an excellent graphic designer and I'm sure he would be more than willing to make something up for us. He designs websites for a living so he's pretty freakin' good at it. I'll ask him and see.

How about something a bit different? Something other than an oblique shot of a car with overlaid graphics and rotor.

What I'd like is something like the line of cars in the video from the rotary camping trip. Animated might be cool.

OK, I'm home from work now. I'll make one or two and put them up here and you guys can tell me what you think. Anyone know where I can find a file of just the rx7club.com logo without the FC behind it? If not I can work around it, but it would make life a lot easier.....

Yeah... or perhaps all three gens in a row. or how 'bout a morphing image from 1st to 2nd to 3rd gen. hehe ... okay maybe that last one is a bit tough.

Here is my best shot at making a banner for us 1st gen folk. Let me know what you guys think. I tried to maintain some of the continuity of the original design but tailor it to our 79-85 needs as well... Hopefully it will be to everyone's liking and we can take back some of our own turf....

I think it turned out very nice as well.... It will hopefully give us a little of our own flair in the 1st gen section instead of relying on a red FC with giant zinc mesh wheels to represent our tastes. And why shouldn't we have our own banner? Everyone knows the 1st gen section is where its at!

Hopefully inittab will like the design... If not I can always make some alterations...
