Need some help (electrical) down to last step:(

Hey guys fresh into the rotor world and fourm. Was hoping I could get some help on my 12a stock 1985 rx-7. I just bought her about a month ago I'm the second owner bought it from a doctor rebuild engine from mazda with papers 50000km, new paint job runs great. Took it for a spin was running normal just as it has from day one parked it went to were i had to go came out started right away because choke was out. So i started to drive feels really sluggish more i hit the gas more it slows down, stop at a light choke pops in car idles at maybe 500rpm if i'm lucky and the needle is bouncing and i can feel a shaking. So i get it home plug were bad bought new ones. My cap and rotor looked worn so got those also.. (((((oh side note for people in canada they make rotors but not caps in canada anymore have to order from states so if you think its going be safe just get it so your not stuck for 5 days waiting for a cap)))) also i checked befor all this and i was getting no trailing spark so went to then next thing. After rotor, cap, wires ,plugs then ignition coil which brought my idle to normal but still miss fires which is wierd cause my car used to run at 1000 rpm which i thought was normal till I looked it up. It should be 750rpm at idle which it is now but still missfires the timing is dead on. Ive checked it more than once....so was reading up on the ignitors so I switched them around and the car wont even start now befor the switch would start right up but have rough idle still. So I got them coming on order i'm wondering did i find the problem doing that or is there anything else I can look for befor they come in the mail..

Sorry for the huge post but tryin to give every little detail thank you for reading
also I am getting fuel and have new a filter, am I going the wrong way... also all that ive done still dont get spark from trailing plugs.

No spark on trailing: probably due to a bad ignitor. So when you switched them around, you probably gained trailing but lost leading. I would switch them back.

Have you replaced the fuel filter? Very important.

No power, the more you press the gas the more it bogs: sounds like clogged jets in the carb.
