I need a new exhaust.
Original exhaust was on a '85 RX7 GS.
I want as much performance as possible for a car stored most of its life(i bought it three years ago for 3k(US) with 78k miles on it). It is almost all original and in mostly mint. Im not a "car guy" but I appreciate the car alot. I figured i would get a header on down cuz the shield guard was so bad that the previous stuffed cloth to keep in from rattling. I havent had much luck finding a high performance exhaust header on down. We dont have emissions an I drive it for fun but I need help finding the parts to get her running nice...so I can at least hear the RADIO!

I am working on RIMs too but I dont want to MOD it out too much......just maybe an inch or two from stock....what adjustments do I need if I go with larger rims AND what brands of rims an tires are you guys using for the "classic" look.
I am not into trying to change the overall look of the vehicle just give it some vitamins.

yeah they make everything to top performance!
with no emissions, straight pipe would be ideal, but loud...VERY loud!

 

Racing Bleat header to full-length presilencer with an SA muffler will be about the quietest setup you could use.
