I just purchased a 1982 rx-7, which I love, (i traded in my Blazer for it) and I love the world of rotors. The instant revs and unique sounds are... amazing. Anyway, the problem with this 7 is that it is an automatic. Are there comp chips for these to improve the shifter timing or anything? Also, what are the basic HP and speed improving items to purchase on a stock engine. I am an expierenced mechanic, so i could install anything (i hope). Thanks!

 

If you're a mechanice then there is only one answer.out in a 5 speed the auto in these suck.
