Need help with Weber 45

First of all what size of jetting should I be using, the current jets are 145, and 55 (I don't know jack about jets I just got the carb) it seems like it is running extremely rich note that im still running my stock pump with a holley 1-4 psi pressure regulator hooked up. Soon im going to install the carter 7 psi pump... But I started it up and it idled fine, seemed ok to drive so I hopped in and I got about 4 houses down from me and it started bogging a ton at about 2-3k rpms... I live in Alberta Canada, this car is not going to be used in the winter... I just need to get the car good enough to drive for tuesday when its scheduled in for paint and body work..

Also where is the best place to get a stiffer spring and filters for the weber 45dco? I would really perfer one that can ship extremely fast...

Thanks guys for the help.

try using smaller venturies, then work your way up.

well the problem is I don't really have any jets to play with so im just wondering what I should do should I just order a ton of jets and play around with them? Like I said I need the car to at least run for 10 miles by early next week to get it to the paint shop...

Another question I have is what bolts am I supposed to use for the intake manifold to engine? The two bolts that go in the top right corner and the top left corner are kinda embedded in the intake manifold and when I try to put the stock bolts on they bind against the side of the intake manifold...

if it falls flat in its face above 3,000 RPM, you got to use smaller venturies. bogging has nothing to do with jetting. with the top 2 bolts, I use allen head bolts.

Bump, Does anyone else have other tips, I emailed peircemanifolds.com but I am waiting for a response from them, the way the carb is right now it won't even go past 2000 rpms and it just falls on its face and wants to die...
