need help with upper control arm brackets

need help with upper control arm brackets

Hey i have a an 84 12a rx7 and the rear upper control arm brackets had gone bad, my father had tok it off my hands n i bought another car while i was in college, well when i was away he decided to cut away the brackets adn all rust around it and now we are stuck, we are goign to be making a custom bracket but i would love to get pictures and what not of where relativly they should be or what they even look like ( this all happened abotu a year n a half ago. was wondering if wany one can help out on posting up some pics of giving good information, PLEASE i just want my baby back on the road to show off !!

It may be a little late to say this, but this is one reason why one side at a time should be done, using the untouched one as a sample. Depending on budget, this might be a good time to look into a panhard and tri-link set up. If you're going to return it to stock configureation, you will need access to another body to take measurements from. Pics will only show you genaral configureation.

+1^^... go tri-link. Not only does it fix the obvious design flaws int he suspension but you won't have to deal with remounting the factory designed inferior upper links. Plus its a lot easier to install
