FL Need help with part ID (switch)

This switch sits on the right side behind the steering wheel. Can somebody tell me what is for? Thanks for your help

What year is your 7? what color are the wires going to the switch and how many?

that makes it beep when you have the key in the ignition and door open. its supposed to be on the ignition lock.

I don't recognize it offhand, your best bet is to go here and download the FSM for your car. Then follow the wiring scematic.

looks like no switch i've ever seen. just a blurry piece of white plastic with electrical tape around it.
