I'm about to order some new parts but im not sure what they are called, lol I don't want to walk to autozone and say

" um yeah I needs this one part its like about this big and it has wires on it and crap, so like how much is it ? "

If you can't tell from the pic this ones on the oilpan I thought it was the temp sensor, but im not sure :

And this ones under the oil filter:

Ok, don't take my word 100%, but I believe the top one operates the warning light if you have low oil? But the one under the oil filter is the water temp sensor.

The first one is the oil temp sensor, that I believe controls the cold start assist on the SA's.Dont worry about it,the cold start assit is crap and most 1st gens dont have them anymore. The plug in front of that unit, controls the "low oil" light on the dash.

The second is the water temp sender.A common failure and usually the cause of a bad gauge reading.Just be sure you get the right one.The older cars have a fine thread metric sender with a sealing washer.Later RX-7s and most Mazda rebuild engines use a larger tapered pipe thread that requires sealing compound.
