NEED HELP gsl rear on a gsl-se??

It is but consider swapping the parts instead, problems include:
Different lug pattern = different wheels
Smaller brakes on the GSL
Different ratio 3.9 vs 4.1
Different offset GSL-SE -38 whereas GSL is -17
Handbrake cables will need to be swapped
Some say the GSL LSD is superior but unlikely to be an issue under 300hp
Oh and the control arms bushing are usually a Biatch
Easier and smarter to change out the pumpkin, just remove the driveshaft, wheels, calipers and pull the axles, then undo and remove the center.

A correction here Aussie.
You cannot interchange the pumpkins between the 83 and later models. The SE's and all 84-85 models for that matter have the larger axles and different spline count. The Se axles will not go into the 81-83 pumpkins.
