Need help on a front sturt insert
Bag a donuts to the first person who can help me out with this 
I am trying to figure out how long a front strut insert is on a first gen 1981-84?
If someone has a spare set laying around in the garage can you get me a measurement?
I am looking for the length for the insert only. From the bottom to where the inner piston comes out. Do not include the piston in the measurement, just the sturt tube portion.
Remember, a bag of donuts awaits you.

Damn, I just did a DIY on all this. I have a picture of the insert. Wait, I've got an extra one in the garage. If you don't already have an answer, I'll take those apart tomorrow and let you know.
