need help with exhaust manifold

need help with exhaust manifold

how do you get the upper bolts off. i am trying to take the manifold off so that i can install my new exhaust. have only those two upper ones left, and cannot figure out how to get into them.. any suggestions?

Not 100% certain but believe you may need to pull the intake manifold to get to the two upper bolts.

you'll need six inches worth of extensions, and you have to try to put the socket on the bolts first. I would be a little bit easier if you remove the ACV (Air Control Valve) which is in the middle right on top of the manifold and it has 3x10mm bolts.

thanks guys.. i actually just decided to strip off the air pump. that and the emitions crap made it easier to accesss.. still a bitch though, due to the shape of the manifold..
