Need help, buying bushings
I researched all about thses things now and i am just buying the urethane for the front and leaving the rear alone( for now) but i still am unsure on what to buy. I have relativly low miles(under 83,000) but they should still make a difference right. I am also not very familiar with suspension stuff but i am smart enough with tools and cars to figure it out. But what should i buy, like everything that's possible or what. I found the site everyone seems to use( http://www.suspension.com/mazda.htm) but it looks like mazdatrix has a couple of things that the other doesn't. I hope i am making at least a little sense. Thanks for any help, God bless...( oh yeah i just ordered my springs too, ive doe that before though)

Sorry to hijack, but the suspension.com site lists "strut rod" bushings while mazdatrix lists "tension rod" bushings. I know the tension rod bushings and need some. Is the other place referring to the same thing with "strut rod"?
BTW, where in kansas?

There's a great exploded view pic of front and rear suspensions in the Victoria British catalog ( free ). Just search and get one sent to you. I think it is a must have source.

All you really need for the front of the car are the poly-graph swaybar endlinks, swaybar frame bushings, tension/strut rod bushings, and control arm bushings. For the rear, if you're going to leave the control arms alone, you can get brand-new ones from Mazdatrix (which seems to be the only way to get new regular rubber bushings for the rear, the only "bushing-only" option I could find was poly-graph), and then the poly-grpah watts link set and swaybar endlinks & frams bushings from suspension.com.
Good luck!

Yeah, David, the VB catalog is a great reference with all the exploded pics. I was just looking at mine and see that they refer to tension rods too, not strut rods. They're only a few miles from my house, so getting parts from there is pretty convenient too.

Not really a store, just a parts counter at the warehouse. A couple MGs sitting in the "store". A lot of their business is with MG, Triumph, etc. They have catalogs for that stuff there, along with catalogs for truck parts. I'm not sure the guy (only one) at the counter knows a 12A from a 20B.
