Need help ASAP ID-ing Nikki!

Bought this used a while ago from someone here, but don't know what year carb it is....It came on a 13B 4 port manifold.
I need to get a rebuild kit for it asap. Thanks!

The throttle return spring looks weird. I am betting it is a pre RX-7 nikki. Not sure which rotary vehicles with 13B came with nikki. Hopefully, RX7Carl or Sterling can give more info.

Yeah, there is also no diaphragm thingy next to the return spring also. Maybe it's an RX2/3/4?

I tried checking the PDF manuals but the pictures are crap...

Early 13B 4 ports came with Hitachi carbs. Your's looks to be pre-7.

That carb shows signs of physical damage and missing parts. It should still be useable if you can set everything back to normal. However, why anyone would want to use a '79-'80 Nikki is beyond me.

Looks a lot like the Nikki that came with my SA, so I'd guess Jeff is right about the '79-'80 range.

Long story short, it's only temporary, to get me to a car show for one day, that's it.

Those are actually old pix, it's on the engine but it doesn't want to start. And since I was having float probs, I thought a rebuild kit would help. Do the kits come with needles and seats?

By pre-7, does that mean RX2/3/4/5?
It doesn't have to make power, just need it to get me 40 miles round trip! I wish I had time to check out a junkyard. Buiying a new one from out of state is out of the question, show is in 2 weeks.

I guess I'll buy a bunch of kits at autozone and return the wrong ones.

I've seen worse LOL. That is an early 7 carb that someone has stripped down to the basics. For the parts you really need, any year kit will work. The GP Sorenson 96-555 kit is the best made. If you cant find it locally, I do stock them. It's what I use here.

Thanks Carl,
I will check locally, any year you say? Wish me luck!

If not, what's the total charge to ship it to Cali 92647 before the end of the week?
