Need Help ASAP GSL_SE PLEASE HELP
My GSL-SE has sat for about two weeks now due to the oil cooler was cracked when I changed out my oil lines to stainless.
I got my cooler back yesterday and mounted it today. Tried to start my car and turned over slowly like the battery is dead. (The battery is 4 weeks old - Diehard) Now I have swapped out batteries at Sears and came back home to start my car and again it is acting like the battery is dead. I used jumper cables and still the same. When the jumper cables were on the two cars my battery gauge reads a little past 12 volts.
Anyone have any ideas????
If needed I could call someone over the phone for help.

Sounds like a bad ground at the shock strut or, more likely, further along the same cable, at the engine ground. If you know the battery is good, and it turns over slowly, and it was fine before, the only options I can think of are a bad ground or a bad starter (not likely if it was good 2 weeks ago). If the first battery was a dud, it may be flooded now and a good battery will not solve that. If the car you jumped it with was running, (as it should) your meter should have read at least 13.5 volts.
Just a few ideas, good luck,
-John.

Simple and cheap thing to try. Replace both battery cables. Even though they may look good from the outside, corrosion can lurk inside. It's cheap, doesn't take long, and will need to be done sooner or later. I had somewhat of the same problems with my SE.. starter refused to work at all, though... New set of cables from NAPA and the car was running like a dream.. One warning, when I got them, the negative cable went only to the body ground. I had to buy another cable to run from the body ground to the engine. Even still, the total price was well under $10. Hope this is your problem...

Also,
I have a little past 12v with out the jumper cables or charger.
I have replaced the battery terminals about 2 months ago.
If the car is flooded how do I unflood it?
Should I squirt Marvel oil in the spark plug holes?

Thanks for all the help. I ended up push starting it. It is running.
I did the unflood fix then shot some MMO in the L holes. Tryed to start it with no luck so I pushed started it.
Thanks to all who replied. I did not think of it being flooded untill I remembered when my 89TII flooded.

was the car on an incline like the front was jacked up? if it was GSL-SE is notorious for this problem. If you have the front jacked up or you have parked on an uphill, some GSL-SE's don't start. Try taking the plugs out and cleaning and drying them. Then take the engine fuse out of the fuse box (i believe it's a 20A). Then try starting the car without the plugs. you will see smoke coming out of the plug holes, do this till the smoke is gone. put back the plugs in. At this point you have to push start the car since it's way easier. just get it going like 10-15MPH and drop it in 2nd gear. this should work.
