Need help on 82 front susp rebuild!

My front suspension drives me, instead of me driving it. I am replacing all of the bushings on the rods, and in the steering 'box', so i call it. will this end my loose handling and steering wheel play? You know, that slack in the wheel when parked. My alignment is fine, though. Has anyone rebuilt that 'box' im referring to? Its under the brake booster. Are the energy suspension bushings from Victoria British any good?

Just replacing the bushings with poly and replacing the idler arm tightened up the steering in my car a lot.

Yup, the idler arm is a typical culprit for loose steering; it gets toasted because the exhaust is right next to it.
