Need fender help!!!

So I took off all the body panels in the front of the car. Well I put the passenger fender on in the same spot where the screw marks were originally. Well thinking it was on good I went to open the door and it clips the fender. I unsrew the bolts and slide it forward as much as I can. Now the fender screws are closer to the front past the original screw marks. Well the door still clips the damn fender. I am speechless. It is like the door moves forward everytime I move the fender forward. What am I doing wrong?

You need to adjust the fender inboard, it will bend the fender edge in when the door hits it, its not a forward issue but an alignment towards the engine bay.

NP, ask me how I know....

By the way it may be adjustment away from the engine, the top engine bay bolt and the bolt in the door well are the ones to adjust
