Need carb help!
Hi,
First post, I've been lurking for a while though.
I recently bought an 85 GSL that is in beautiful cosmetic shape, and after new struts and brakes, good mechanical shape too. Only one problem:
The carb secondaries were leaky when I got the car, and after ~1500 kms of driving have gotten really really bad, to the point where the throttle area (where the butterflies are) fills with gas after the car has been shut off. As you can imagine this is quite dangerous, as well as being really bad for my mileage. So, here's where I need help. Where, in the Toronto area, can I get a carb rebuild? How much should it cost? OR Does anyone have a good carb that they would be willing to part with for a few dollars. I actually just need it until winter, as I will be going to FI once the snow flies.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

basically what you have is a missing ballbearing or so. it's exactly what happened to my carb as i just recently found out. most carb shops honestly might not know this and no basic rebuild kit will fix it.

Airflow is my life
Your inlet valves may be sticking, also your vent solenoid may be unplugged or bad. To check the solenoid (its between the fuel lines at the center of carb) put the key in on position, then disconnect and connect the single wire connector, you should hear a click. To see if your inlet valves are bad look at the float level windows, fuel level should be about 1/2 way in the sight glasses. If the car has been sitting, this is a common problem. A few taps with a mallet on the fuel inlets (the 2 hex shaped banjo bolts) usually unsticks them.
